Job Description

The Senior Program Manager role at Spire is by nature transverse, and sits at the intersection of our business teams – across functions and business units. You are part of a central team, working transversally across Spire. You will interact with representatives from teams like Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Pre-Sales Engineering, and you will have ownership on central processes aimed at enabling them be more successful.

More specifically, you will report into the Director of Revenue Operations, and you will own central processes aimed at enabling the company drive revenue across its business units and functional teams, like the goal setting exercises, or the sales process and its other related sub-process – like sales enablement, leads management, voice of the customer, etc. You put yourself in your stakeholder shoes, and are able to translate requirements and business needs across different teams and functions. You are able to drive cohesion across different types of stakeholders, and enable data-driven decisions. You are keen on driving towards the big picture, by leveraging standardization and automation. You are able to orchestrate forums of stakeholders from different functions or business units, to drive towards your goals.

You are driven by data – you strive to measure what seems to be unmeasurable, and you drive decisions based on numbers. You focus on the long term goals, while being able to cope with short term activities. You are keen to be part of a company that grows, and to grow periodically the complexity you deal with.

Responsibilities of your role: 

  • You directly work with company and business unit leaders to enable organizations reach their business goals, by driving various types of central and transversal projects, processes and mechanisms.
  • You drive wide goal setting exercises, ensuring their alignment and that correct reporting mechanisms are deployed and fully adopted.
  • You directly orchestrate different project teams and workgroups towards process re/engineering and project delivery.
  • You drive business reporting processes and you own the related adoption mechanisms.
  • You own core business processes, like leads management, the sales process, or sales enablement.
  • You influence at all layers of the organization, across business units, to orchestrate transversal workgroups.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of practical experience which includes:
    • Handling multiple business process engineering and projects at once, while knowing how to prioritize and execute
    • Directly driving change processes across functions and business units.
    • Hands-on experience with healthy marketing and sales processes.
    • Hands-on experience with influencing at various levels of the organization.
    • Hands-on experience with core business processes, like the sales process, leads management or sales enablement.

Strong candidates will also possess experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Working directly with senior company and business unit leadership.
  • Being able to influence stakeholders at all layers.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Using curiosity as a means to increase the complexity of your role.
  • Hands-on experience with goal setting exercises.
  • Hands-on experience with integrating existing processes, and creating a roadmap towards process excellence through automation.
