Events & PR Specialist

As an Events & PR Specialist you will work as part of a global team in a fast-paced start-up. In this role, you will have the opportunity to get creative, show your field marketer skills and manage and execute events for Spire Space Services. 

You will...

  • Execute audience-focused field events, including third party events, roadshows, roundtables, workshops, virtual events & webinars
  • Coordinate trade show planning and execution with sales and marketing teams by providing timely updates per event, and helping to build marketing event/program calendars to increase awareness, drive engagement and generate leads
  • Track all in-person events and generate metrics and ongoing reporting to measure success
  • Manage vendor relationships: Communicate, provide direction, review and analyze vendor execution
  • Partner closely with Sales to enable efficient lead follow up through programmatic approaches
  • Develop a framework for events with detailed project timelines, roles and responsibilities, logistics, program structures, and marketing guidelines
  • Support the execution of events, including lead planning and debrief meetings
  • Expand business and corporate engagement through volunteer and sponsorship activities
  • Work with marketing team and product teams to develop innovative new approaches to promoting Spire Space Services
  • Responsible for managing all of digital communications: social media channels, e‐newsletters etc.
  • Write promotional materials, website content, social media posts, articles, publications and other communication materials as required
  • Oversee the creation and execution of printed marketing materials including brochures, annual reports, invitations, etc.
  • Measure, track, and optimize the effectiveness of communications using marketing tools
  • Ensure Spire Space Services’ identity is consistent across all outreach initiatives through effective messaging, knowledge sharing, and branding standards
  • Develop and manage relationships with external stakeholder vendors

You have...

  • 2-4 years of relevant B2B field marketing experience, including experience executing events and campaigns
  • Proven track record defining and executing field marketing programs and events that drive new customer acquisition and pipeline generation outcomes
  • Experience working in both digital and in-person event environments
  • Solid understanding of lead management and sales funnel management
  • Proficiency in budgeting, negotiating contracts, and project management
  • A calm, organized approach to working with relentless attention to detail and demonstrate poise and grace under pressure
  • A strong track record of performance excellence meeting targets and objectives
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and editing skills
  • Creative and critical thinking
  • Experience using a CRM system like Hubspot
