About this webinar

Join this webinar to learn more about how the road to decarbonization can be paved with data partnerships – and how incredible data insights are unlocking a more sustainable future for shipping.

Currently outside of the Paris Climate Agreement, the global shipping industry is under considerable pressure to find solutions to decarbonize, improve its sustainability and reduce its impact on the environment. International shipping is responsible for approximately 2.5% of global CO2 emissions – roughly equivalent to Germany’s annual emissions output.

Shipping needs immediate-term solutions to this challenge. Digitalization, and data-driven solutions, hold part of the answer. Shipping’s vast data resource can now be shaped into powerful sustainability insights if it is channeled through the right applications, software, and partnerships.

In January 2021, maritime technology company ZeroNorth and satellite, AIS, and weather data providers Spire Maritime announced one such partnership. ZeroNorth and Spire are both working at the forefront of the maritime sector, driving the use of technology and data to solve industry challenges.

This webinar will examine what the partnership means for the maritime industry and explore how we can all take action on decarbonization today via data and technology.
