Cubesat Solar Panels
CubeSat solar panels are solar arrays specifically designed to provide power to CubeSats, small satellites with a standardised form factor. These solar panels are typically compact and lightweight and are optimised to generate as much power as possible in the limited space available on a CubeSat. They are made of high-efficiency solar cells arranged in an array and mounted on the satellite’s surface. The solar panels are designed to capture energy from the sun and convert it into electrical power, which is then used to power the satellite’s systems and instruments. CubeSat solar panels are a critical component of CubeSat missions, as they provide the necessary power for the satellite to operate in space.
